AUDIO SNOW REPORT

General Comments

Perfect North Slopes is open today for skiing and snowboarding 9:30 am – 9:30 pm. It was a good weekend for skiing and riding with new snow and terrain reopening over the weekend. That will continue this week with good snowmaking temperatures and improved snow conditions. The weather forecast is calling for temperatures in the low 30s today, with mostly sunny skies. Since temperatures will be hovering right around freezing, it is likely that snowmaking will remain on in some areas, but there should be some terrain where snow guns are not running. After two good nights of the snowmakers working hard, the majority of the terrain is open for skiing and snowboarding. This morning you can expect a machine groomed surface on most popular terrain, while others will have large snow piles from the progress overnight, with a fresh snow surface. The snow should be fast and dry, squeak beneath your boots snow. When temperatures get cold like this, these are generally some of our best snow conditions. Be advised, some terrain will remain ungroomed, as trails are becoming more wide with the new snow, there may be unmarked hazards, so please be aware and ski with caution.

Snow tubing will be available at 1:00 pm until 9:30 pm tonight with Regular, Express and Super Lanes. These are great snow tubing conditions, when temperatures are low, the tubing lanes allow for high speeds and plenty of laughs.

Snow Tubing will open with 7 Express Lanes,  6 Regular Lanes and 1 Super Lane at 1:00pm - until 9:30pm

On very busy days we are implementing a procedure at tubing, to improve the experience. When we get to the point where we think the cycle time is getting too long, we will issue a "wait number". You can fill out your waivers and turn them in at the ticket window to get your wait number. Then, you can hang around the base area, have a snack, watch the action and then buy your ticket when your number is called. You may still have a wait time before you buy your ticket, but we hope you won't spend as much time waiting in line once you have your ticket!
